Privacy

• When you send the contact form: your name, email address, subject and message. It is stored so the board can find it again, and emailed to Bay County Disc Golf address.
• When you have a supporter account: your email address and password (the password is held by our authentication provider, hashed, and we never see it), plus the roster details you give us: name, and optionally phone number, PDGA number and Discord handle.
• Your scores: round-by-round scores from sanctioned our events, taken from the PDGA's public results, along with the PDGA rating it publishes for you. This is the same information anyone can read on pdga.com.
• Photographs of you at our events: taken by Bay County Disc Golf's photographers and published in the galleries. See Photographs, below, for the waiver that covers them and how to have one removed.
• Aggregate traffic figures: page views and rough visitor counts, with no cookie and no cross-site identifier. We can see that a page was popular. It cannot see who you are.

We do not collect payment details on this site, and does not ask for anything it has no use for.

Bay County Disc Golf photographs its events, most of it by Steve Bauer and Anna Gann, and publishes them in the photo galleries and across this site. They are public: anyone can look at them, and no account is needed.

Why Bay County Disc Golf may. Every Bay County Disc Golf event registration includes a photo waiver, so everyone who plays one of our events has agreed that pictures taken there may be used by Bay County Disc Golf.

The waiver isn't the end of it. If you are in a photograph and would rather not be, write to hello@baycountydiscgolf.com. The board reviews every removal request and replies within 72 hours, and the photograph comes down. You don't have to give a reason, and you don't have to have withdrawn the waiver.

What gets published is a resized copy, marked with Bay County Disc Golf's name and the photographer's. The full-resolution originals stay on Bay County Disc Golf's own drive and are not distributed.

If you never sign in, this site sets no cookies. If you do sign in, our authentication provider sets a small number of cookies that keep you signed in and nothing else. They are strictly necessary, since the portal cannot work without them, and they carry no advertising or cross-site tracking. Signing out clears them.

The traffic counting is deliberately cookieless, so this site has no consent gate to click through.

We use a handful of services to keep the site running. Each one only handles what it needs to:

• Vercel: hosting, and the cookieless traffic counts.
• Supabase: the database and the sign-in system.
• Resend: sends the emails the site generates, like a password reset or a copy of your contact message.
• Forward Email: forwards mail sent to Bay County Disc Golf's address.

Beyond those, your information goes nowhere. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone for marketing. The only other time it would leave is if Bay County Disc Golf were legally required to produce it.

Inside Bay County Disc Golf: board members with an admin account can see the roster and the pending account requests. Signed-in supporters can see the handicap leaderboards, which show names and handicaps. That is the point of a leaderboard, and it is the only place your information is visible to other members.

Contact messages are kept while they are useful and cleared out periodically. Roster and score history is kept for as long as we run, because a handicap is only meaningful with years of rounds behind it. If you ask for your account to be removed, it is removed.

Write to hello@baycountydiscgolf.com and the board will, within a reasonable time and at no cost: tell you what Bay County Disc Golf holds about you, correct anything wrong, or delete your account and contact history.

In the app you can do it yourself: Me, then Delete my account. Your login and contact details go right away. If you've played official rounds, your name and those rounds stay in the league record, and the board can take your name off on request.

One limit worth being straight about: scores from sanctioned events are published by the PDGA, not by Bay County Disc Golf, and removing them here does not remove them there. We can take your name off its own leaderboards on request.

Junior divisions are part of our events, and junior scores appear in PDGA results like anyone else's. This site, though, is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly create supporter accounts for anyone under 13 without a parent or guardian arranging it.

Photographs of juniors. Our events are photographed, and juniors appear in those photographs like everyone else. The waiver at registration covers a junior through the parent or guardian who signed them up. If you are that parent or guardian and would rather a picture of your child were not published, write to hello@baycountydiscgolf.com. The board replies within 72 hours and takes it down. No reason needed, and no argument about the waiver.

If you believe any other information about a child is here and shouldn't be, the same address reaches the board and the same 72 hours apply.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Questions, corrections and deletion requests all go to the same place: hello@baycountydiscgolf.com, or the contact form.
