The default. Use wherever there's room for a roughly square logo: signage, shirts, social avatars with padding.

For narrow or vertical space, and anywhere the arc's curved text would be too small to read.

    Mark only

Basket, gull and stars without the wordmark. Use when the club name is already on the page — app icons, favicons, a shirt sleeve.

Courses, events, and crews

These marks belong to the club and follow the same rules as the primary logo: don't recolor them, redraw them, or mix one event's artwork into another year. A dated or sponsor-bearing version belongs to that running only.

  • The Monster at Majette logo

    The Monster at MajetteCourse

The club's home course. The owl is its mark — the great horned owls are all over Majette Park at dusk.

The current owl is the bold red-and-navy mascot shown here, the one on monsteratmajette.com. The course keeps its own palette, separate from the club's maroon and navy; don't mix the two systems on one piece.

  • Northwest Florida Disc Golf Championship logo

    Northwest Florida Disc Golf ChampionshipEvent

The club's championship event. Palms and a basket on a green dune, sun behind, green and blue waves beneath. The colored lockup is the default; the mark on its own suits small round uses like avatars and stamps.

The basket in the artwork is near-white, so on a white page it reads as a cutout against the dune — that's how it's drawn. Use the reverse lockup on dark grounds and the one-colour version where a single ink is all you get. The older line-art drawing (palms, basket and the Majette owl over a dune) still exists but new pieces should use this mark, and the 2021 version carries that year's sponsor.

  • Majette Monster Mash logo

    Majette Monster MashEvent

The club's flagship tournament, the Saturday before Halloween. Frankenstein's monster in a purple suit — the character carries the event on its own.

This is the undated character mark, so it works for any running. The per-year flyers pair it with that year's dripping-green date and the running's sponsors; those belong to that event only.

  • Root for Bay logo

    Root for BayInitiative

The club's reforestation push — planting native oaks, cypress and black cherry to bring back canopy Hurricane Michael took.

    • Leaf#8DC63F
    • Bark#4D4D4D

Green is correct here and is the one sanctioned exception to the club palette — the initiative is about trees.

  • Squid Squad logo

    Squid SquadCrew

The volunteers who fish discs out of Majette's water and get them back to their owners. Dry suits, diver-flag motif, and a $7 ship-it-home service for out-of-towners.

Colors

Two brand colors, black, and white. Maroon leads; navy supports.

  • Basket Maroon

    #660000

Primary. The basket, the stars, headlines.

  • Gull Navy

    #333366

Secondary. The gull and the water line.

  • Ink

    #000000

The wordmark. Body text on light backgrounds.

  • Paper

    #FFFFFF

Backgrounds, and the reverse logo on dark.

Typography

BAY COUNTY DISC GOLF

The wordmark is set in Copperplate, all caps, letter-spaced. It's part of the logo artwork — don't retype it. For everything else (flyers, documents, this site) use a clean sans-serif; the logo carries the character on its own.

Using the logo

Please do

  • Leave clear space around the logo equal to the height of one star.
  • Use the reverse (white) version on dark backgrounds and photos.
  • Use the badge SVG whenever the logo will be printed, embroidered, or stamped.
  • Scale proportionally — the arc logo stops being readable below about 120px wide.

Please don't

  • Recolor the logo. The maroon and navy are the brand.
  • Stretch, skew, rotate, or add effects like drop shadows and outlines.
  • Place the color logo on a busy photo or a mid-tone background — use the reverse version.
  • Rebuild the curved wordmark in another typeface.
