Bay County Kickoff
MLK weekend, 2020–2024
Our season-opening tournament, run every MLK weekend from 2020 through 2024. Retired. The January league kickoff carries the season opener now.

Summer, 2020–2023
Three rounds across three layouts in one day, raising money for the HOPE Project. Retired after the 2023 running.

Best of Bay Match Play Championship
Match play brackets, 2020–2025
Our match play championship, and where the championship belt changes hands. It started in January 2020 as the Bay County Championship, eight players over two weeks with the finals at FSU. The belt arrived with the 2022 bracket. Since then it's a double-elimination bracket on Challonge played over a few months, with a companion Rest of Bay bracket some years. Unsanctioned, and nobody has won it twice. No 2026 bracket yet, and Jordan Rumfelt holds the belt.

A one-off we ran as the Bay County Disc Golf Flying Circus: a morning round and an afternoon round on two different courses, one of them out in Freeport.

SuperB Owl Flex Start
February 2023
A Super Bowl Saturday flex start at Majette, run by Richard Higbee: first card out at 8 a.m., last card out by 3 p.m., everybody home before kickoff.

Mystery Disc Challenge
August 2023
A one-off at Under the Oaks, run by Richard Higbee. Your entry bought two mystery discs, and those two plus your own putter were the only discs you were allowed to throw all day.

Par 2 at FSU Panama City
August (2018–2019)
An unsanctioned par 2 on the FSU Panama City campus course: 150-foot holes, played with the two discs in your player's pack and nothing else. The event that put us on the map.

Florida State Gulf Coast Open
March 2020, cancelled
A 24-hole temporary course spread across the adjacent FSU Panama City and Gulf Coast State College campuses. It would have been the largest temporary-course event in Northwest Florida.

A walking putting tour of St. Andrews, run to keep the community together while the county's courses were still out of commission after Hurricane Michael.
